managing the mess

Packing up art materials for a class is my favorite way to work through a lesson. With each supply I add to my boxes, I think about all of the “supporting materials” that will need to go with it (glue? scissors?).

The hardest part about teaching in several places is being mindful about putting materials away. I have a studio space in my home which quickly becomes a dumping ground for bags and bins of supplies after they come in from the car. And getting the stuff out of the car is the first battle…
