Long form ramblings

moving forward

When I went to check my email Sunday morning, this is what I saw:

That little green square there is my contribution to Pop-Out Painting, an exhibition of small artworks on these super fun canvas-like surfaces at Brazee Street Studios.

I have been doing a little legwork (and email work as well) to get my artwork into more galleries and to get back into teaching art, and have discovered a few new venues for both. I am formulating an art class for a soon-to-open play cafe here in Cincinnati, and I am sending books and small felted pieces to Found in Northern Kentucky. The first batch of items to be sold at Found will consist of faux bois necklaces, like this one:

I’m looking forward to a more positive 2015, with more of my artwork in more locations, more blog posts, and more great news to share.
